About Us In 2016 the Parishes of St David at Tywyn and St Mair at Machynlleth became one Parish area. St David's Parish Church is situated on Corbett Avenue near Tywyn railway station. The Parish Church of St Mair is in Machynlleth and is situated on Maengwyn Street. This is the A489 road to Newtown [Powys]. The priest in charge Fr.
